Life cycle assessment (LCA)

An assessment is conducted to evaluate the environmental impacts of products, processes, and services throughout their entire life cycle (extraction of raw materials, processing, production, transport, use, waste management). Identification of life-cycle stages where environmental improvements can be made, thus enabling targeted actions to reduce environmental impacts. This allows businesses to make informed decisions regarding the environmental consequences of their activities and prioritize environmental improvements.

Development of decision support tools for retrieving sustainable or circular economy solutions

Development of decision support tools (frameworks, models, databases, analysis tools, advisory services) to help make informed decisions and implement sustainable solutions for the circular economy, focusing on waste prevention, resource efficiency and the creation of new value-added products. The development Life Cycle Assessments (LPARs) to assess the potential environmental impacts, economic viability, social impacts and other factors affecting the performance and market success of the solutions developed. This objective and systematic assessment aids businesses in avoiding incorrect decisions and undesirable environmental, social, and economic consequences.

Development of systemic solutions for waste prevention, valorisation and sustainable management

Developing system solutions tailored to the specific needs and circumstances of the organisation or municipality, including a detailed assessment of waste streams and environmental impacts, analysis of existing systems and processes and close collaboration with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement. The solutions are developed using a data-driven approach, which may include life-cycle analysis and the assessment of the effectiveness of waste minimization measures and their impacts. By implementing these solutions, businesses and municipalities can enhance their environmental performance, reduce costs, and establish themselves as responsible and sustainable organizations, thereby improving their reputation.
